Ingredients
  

  • - 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • - 1 medium onion chopped
  • - 2 carrots sliced
  • - 2 celery stalks sliced
  • - 2 garlic cloves minced
  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • - 4 cups chicken broth
  • - 1½ cups milk or cooking cream
  • - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • - 2 cups egg noodles or pasta
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil or butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Sauté onion, carrots, celery, and garlic for about 5 minutes until softened.
  • Add shredded chicken, chicken broth, and thyme. Bring to a gentle boil.
  • Add noodles and cook until tender (about 10 minutes).
  • Stir in milk or cream and simmer for another 3–5 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
